First off thanks to the mods who helped me get a patch of land protected, landfill and who showed me a little of the server.

I have enjoyed my first day on CC, but now I am tired, its almost morning.
Though I will introduce my project; I came to CC with a project, I sure as well have started this project.
I will be posting updates of my city about once a month and people are free to come by and look for themselves.
How long the building will take comes down to how fast I can acquire enough of the main building block.

Although its pretty early to say anything about it, the layout you currently have is looking good!

Looks like its all cobblestone, are you going to make all of it cobblestone or are you going to use different materials (Stone brick etc.)?

No, cobble is the layout and cheap skeleton material, you can drop by and have a look.
I have already used all the cash I got first days voting on the main block, which is not cheap, so I got a long long way ahead.

Voting gets you tokens, at a certain amount of tokens you can exchange them for in-game money if that helps

About the project, the layout looks very nice, looks like all the pieces are there! I totally agree with the whole 'making the layout' thing first, it really helps you get an idea early on of what (or even how) you want to build.

Also, you say you used up all your money? Yeah, I got that all the time :L If you like, I would be more than happy to go onto my other (non-donator) account and help you out. I have plenty of items and money, and a project of this size needs funding Just PM me in-game or on the forums and I would be glad to help you out! You can also vote for money, which is quick, easy and free.

Thanks for the warm welcome GazzWars.

I learned about the vote from Knight yesterday and I looted a Mineshaft I came upon while digging for redstone.
You should have seen my start-out little cobblestone fence, that was about 1½ days ago.

Thanks to Jamie and Nibink I got a few things sorted out today, a small area expansion and another fill/flattening.
I started out with a main goal, but as I go along I may change a few things around.
Have thought about making a quick outline of how the city is going to be, scan it and upload it.

Since I started I have had different city expansions in my head, like an area where people can have a house if anyone wants to live in Ellyrian.
My first off idea is a harbour expansion as the sea is rather close to my city and I heard some people taking about Titanic in chat today.

First things first, then main city, so I need to move my livestock outside the city for a short while.

I am stubborn and like to work and sweat for my own projects, but...
