The bumper book of commands.

Postby Echoed » 06 Sep 2012, 22:37

Hey everyone. Since our current one is out of date, I decided I would make a new command guide.

To get here easily, use http://tinyurl.com/BuildCommands .

Please note that all rank get the previous ranks commands, so anything that belongs to the rank below you, you can do.

/help : This command displays a basic list of commands available.

/modreq : This command sends a request to the moderators, for something that you require help with, eg: "/Modreq Please protect my plot". Please do not use this command if you are stuck, or to ask for items, or for reasons that are not needed.

/spawn : This command will teleport you back to spawn. This is useful if you get stuck or lost.

/sethome : Sets a home that can be revisited.

/home : Goes to the players set home.

/region addmember *region name* *username* : This command will add a player to the area you own, so that they can also build. To get the region name, right click on the ground with a ghast tear.

/money : This will tell you how much money you have.

/money pay *username* *amount*: This command will give the person you choose the ammount of money you choose, from your own account.

/tpaccept : This will accept any teleport requests you have received.

/tpdeny : This will deny any teleport requests you have received.

/msg *username* *message* : This command will send a private message to the user you choose. Please do not use this to advertise, or be rude/inappropriate in any way.

/r *message* : This will automatically respond to the last person you received a private message from or sent a message to, using /msg.

/list : Shows a list of all the players currently online.

/modlist : Shows a list of all moderators and admins currently online.

/afk : Marks the player as "afk" or "away from keyboard"

/check : This command checks what number your modreq is, and whether or not it is still open.

/mail send *username* *message* : This will send a message to another player, whether or not they are online.

/mail read : Reads the mail you have received.

/mail delete : This will delete mail you have received.

/warp *warpname* : This command will teleport you somewhere on the server. For a list of all the warps, use /warp *number*

/seen *username* : Tells the player when a player was previously online, and whether or not they are banned.

/tpa *username* : This will send a request to the user you put in to allow you to teleport to them.

/tpahere *username* : This will send a request to the player to have them teleport to you.

/setwarp *warpname* : This will create a warp with the name you choose.

/fly : Turns on flying mode for the player. Flying is activated by double jumping.

/ptime *time* : Sets the time to what you choose (Value of 1000 and upwards)

/back : Takes the player back to wherever they were. eg: I am at my friends building. Then I type /warp shop. Now I don't know where my friends building is. Now I can type /back and it will take me back there.

/sethome *name* : Sets a private home for the player. Veterans are allowed to have up to 10 homes.

/i *item name*/*item ID* *amount*: Spawns a certain amount of the chosen item. The player can type the items ID, or just the item name (/i 1 is the same as /i stone). If the player doesn't choose an amount, it will automatically give them a full stack of 64.

/ci : Clears out the players inventory, deleting all items.

/god : Toggles god mode for the player (when god mode is on, the player cannot be hurt)

/v c : Accesses a virtual chest for the player to store items in.

/v t : Opens a virtual disposal unit for the player.

/ul *itemname*/*item ID* : makes the player have an infinite amount of a certain type of item.

/more : Fills up the stack the player is currently holding

/enderchest : Accesses a virtual enderchest for the player to use.

/spa : Turns on the superpick tool, which instantly destroys blocks

/kick *player* *reason* : Kicks the chosen player for the reason provided. Please only use this for proper reasons, such as spam.

/thru : Allows the player to go through the blocks being looked at. Can also be done by right clicking with a compass.

/gamemode (/gm) : Toggles the players gamemode between Creative and survival

/sethome *Name* : Elites can create unlimited private homes.

/tptoggle : Toggles the ability to teleport to the player. If teleportation is disabled, then other people will not be able to teleport to you, or send teleport requests to you.

/tp : Elites can access to using /tp, instantly teleporting them to a player, without having to send a request.

/me : Elites can use this command to tell people things, in the third person. eg: "/me is hungry" will come out as "* Echoed is hungry"

/d *mob name* : Disguises the player as the mob chosen.

/u : Undisguises the player.

This is all I can think of. If there is anything I have missed, please feel free to PM me on forums and let me know. If any mod/admin is willing to, then feel free to make a list of available commands, and to send them to me. I will then add them to this guide.

Please note that abuse of commands can and will get them taken away from you.

Ill talk to Neil/Frinni about moving this to information. As I feel it is a lot more in depth and includes a lot more commands than Chris' does. As well as you have used all ranks that are on the server excluding Moderator/Admin. Great job, a lot of effort put into this :)

Great guide! It can be very useful to new and returning users. :) The color-coding makes it even better.

You forgot /tpdeny: This means you cancel a teleport request.

The ability to use /near no longer exists for some reason.

Edit:

In addition, /d is not here.

Also, /u is to undisguise for /d

People were abusing a loophole in /near to detect vanished Mods so unfortunately there wasn't any choice but to remove it.
"Have you tried turning it off and on again?"

You wrote: /region addmember *region name* *Player name*

It's: /region addmember *player name* *region name*

He had it right, it is region name first.
